The Role

As a People Operations Generalist at Ushur, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our People functions. This position requires a proactive approach to onboarding, employee relations, payroll management, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, adept at managing multiple tasks, and focused on improving our People initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the onboarding programto ensure effective integration of new hires into the company culture and teams.

Create and implement surveysthat gather meaningful data to enhance our operations and employee satisfaction.

Administer the payroll process,ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial and legal standards.

Oversee and resolve issues submitted through Freshservice, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

Draft and disseminate communications related to HR initiatives, updates, and policies.

Ensure all HR activities comply with legal and company standards.

Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries,providing guidance and support as needed.

Organize HR-related events, including employee engagement activities, team outings, training sessions, and wellness programs.

Handle HR-related documentation, including contracts, employment verification letters, and other legal documents.

Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Manage and track the performance review process, ensuring it is conducted timely and effectively.

Analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement, helping the team make informed decisions.

Prepare reports on HR metrics to inform management and guide strategy.

Assist with gathering data for negotiating benefits rates with providers, ensuring competitive and cost-effective employee benefits.

Address daily issues faced by employees, providing support in coordination with the admin function.

Conduct exit interviews, gather feedback, and report findings to improve retention and employee satisfaction.

Ensuring the accuracy of employee records maintained in the HRIS system

Ensure the full and effective use of HR tools by regularly assessing their functionality and alignment with organizational needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

4-6 years of experience in human resources, with a broad knowledge of its various functions.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong understanding of employment laws and payroll practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in HRIS systems (preferably tools like Rippling, and Lattice ) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
