Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst

MGR Accounting Recruiters, a Teamshares Network company, is searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a client in San Antonio.

The Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst is responsible for providing accurate and timely cost information to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in manufacturing accounting.

Responsiblities:

Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures

Collect and analyze cost data

Prepare and analyze cost reports

Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities

Work with other members of the finance team to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

5+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices

Bilingual- English/Spanish required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
