Founded in 2018 by Michael Brown, Alex Eu, and Kevin Shiiba, Teamshares is a mission-driven financial technology, educational, and creative services company with a distributed workforce of 120 Teammates across 28 states and three countries. Teamshares buys businesses from retiring owners, granting 10% of the business’s stock to employees after closing, and progressively increasing employee ownership to 80% within 20 years. Retiring owners sell their company with confidence and their legacy becomes employee ownership.
