We make it totally hassle free to switch to electric driving by giving customers the whole EV package. Car, charging, energy. The lot.

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Executive to plan, run and execute email campaigns that help grow our customer base - ultimately helping customers to understand what we’re all about.

What you'll do...

Write, build and send email campaigns to existing and prospective customers of Octopus EV, across both our business and consumer audiences

Develop and test email nurture campaigns to business prospects, warming them up via email content and working with our commercial team to convert them

You’ll mix writing the emails yourself with briefing them into our expert content team

You'll also build email templates inside our email platform with support from our design team

You’ll also get stuck in to helping build and manage our marketing automations; mostly in the email space, but from time to time you’ll help with broader marketing automation work

Test & learn, then, test & learn again! Optimise performance by running A/B tests, measuring and analysing results to make the best decisions

Prioritise requests from other departments, ensuring that you can understand what activities will have the biggest impact for our business goals

What you'll need...

Marketing experience - preferred but not essential, and even better if you’ve run email campaigns before

A data-driven approach - you’ll need to understand how your campaigns are performing which means analysing data and making recommendations for improvements

Very strong written and verbal communication skills - you’ll be writing emails that will be sent to thousands of people so accuracy, spelling and grammar is super important

A creative mindset - we don’t take a typical approach to marketing and we need you to think differently about the challenges we need to overcome

A can-do attitude - you need to be willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in

Ability to prioritise and think critically - there’s always a lot going on and loads of cool things we could do. You need to be able to decipher which tasks we should do

Great teamwork - you’ll need to work across the whole marketing team and wider business to make our campaigns a massive success
