At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste.

Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss!

As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste. With all that being said, we are very excited to share that we are looking for a Partner Marketing Lead to support us based in either Vienna, Austria or Berlin, Germany - covering the DACH region. 

As Partner Marketing Lead you will be part of an international and multidisciplinary marketing team. You will lead a Partner Marketing team of three people in DACH responsible for delivering co-branded, joint campaigns and in-store activations with our partners across DACH with a focus on Austria and Germany.  You will work closely with our Key Accounts team(s) and help build and strengthen relationships with our partners’ marketing teams, getting buy-in for co-branded, joint marketing campaigns and in-store activationsThe Role:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing for the region, you will collaborate with them on cluster-wide marketing initiatives, oversee the B2B2C strategy and its implementation across all countries, and manage and coach your team members.At the same time, your responsibilities include:

  • Working with top Partners and Key Accounts :
  • Local and Cluster-level Partner Marketing with Key Account Partners, including Joint Marketing, KA Employee Engagement & Trade Shopper Marketing activation.
  • Work closely with B2C Marketing teams to amplify relevant activity through Partner channels where appropriate.
  • Work with the local KA team to support KA & Sales activity.
  • Coordinate centrally-led Lead Generation activity for the region.
  • Share best practices and learnings with the Global Marketing and Key Accounts teams to help continuously optimise our work with partners.
  • Collaborate with the local Business Development teams to help secure large Food Retailers chain deployments. 
  • Feed the international learning loop to help continuously optimise strategies, messaging and activation towards and together with partners.
  • Identify local trends and opportunities.

People Management:

  • You will manage a team of two people, one in charge of the French market, the other one of the Italian Market
  • You will encourage cross-team work (no silos within the marketing team, within the French/Italian team, within the global team). 
  • Your role is to inspire and empower : you set the vision, the ambition and make sure the person in your team has everything he needs to run his own area of ownership.  You lead with trust and share our values.  
  • You push new ways of management, bring inspiration, give recognition, lead by example to develop new ways of challenges. 
  • You will build and develop a productive, efficient and autonomous Partner Marketing team: training, experience sharing, coaching and raising the bar.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in a role with a B2B2C focus, where you can demonstrate building strong relationships with partners’ marketing teams and delivering impactful and effective co-branded marketing campaigns with them.
  • Marketing holistic vision and KPI & results oriented.
  • Excellent organisation skills and detail-oriented. You are hyper-organised and prioritise execution, with the ability to adapt and innovate in an ever-changing fast-growing environment.
  • Experience of integrated campaign delivery across multiple internal/external touchpoints and channels. 
  • Great stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate cross team. Demonstrated experience of collaborating closely between local and global operations is beneficial (Matrix organisations).
  • Aptitude for people management, with experience in training and coaching team members. Line management experience is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate joint plans and marketing ideas.
  • You are growth-minded and have the capacity to adapt yourself in a scale-up or fast-growth business
  • A make-it-happen person who doesn't hesitate to roll up your sleeves – but you also think about the long-term impact and requirements.
  • Hyper-organised and passionate about operational excellence.
  • Keen eye for detail, and proficiency in briefing & reviewing campaign assets.
  • You are solution-oriented, with strong project management skills.
  • A desire to help make a positive impact on our planet and society 
  • Fluent in German and English

Wir honorieren jedoch Qualifikation und Vorerfahrung und bieten für diese Position ein über-kollektivvertragliches Bruttojahresgehalt ab EUR 68.000,- auf Vollzeitbasis
