About the Role
We are hiring an experienced, business-minded Senior Contracts Manager on the Commercial Legal team to negotiate complex agreements with enterprise restaurant merchants. As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will work closely with business development, accounting, contract operations, and many others. You’re tasked with delivering quick turnarounds on contracts, finding creative solutions to big and small problems, analyzing complicated contract structures, and driving process improvements to support the business.
The Senior Contracts Manager will also manage a team of outsourced attorneys who perform more routine functions and negotiations. You’ll be responsible for determining what work to outsource, assigning the work, and being a point of escalation for questions.
You will report into a Legal Director on our Commercial Legal team in our best-in-class Legal Department.

- You have spent most or all of your career in-house, working at fast-paced companies that value quick decision-making.
- You have managed outside help, whether it’s outside counsel, contractors, or other outsourced work.
- You have a strong business acumen, and are able to balance the risks vs. the rewards.
- You love getting things right, but that doesn’t stop you from getting things done.
- You’ve never met a legal process you couldn’t simplify and improve.

- You adapt quickly to changing processes and new priorities – the only constant here is change.
- Have a bachelor’s degree (no JD required).

Compensation
The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
