About the team

The VTEX Sales Team works directly with enterprise companies globally to ideate, architect and sell transformative digital commerce projects using VTEX's composable commerce solutions. The team focuses on identifying, contacting and activating new accounts that will drive growth and build competitive advantage.

 

About the Role

The VTEX Account Executive will focus on selling our digital commerce services, spanning the entire sales lifecycle from opportunity qualification, sales pursuits, closing strategy, and execution. The Account Executive will build and maintain strong relationships with VTEX clients and prospects, working closely with C-Levels, understanding their needs, and showcasing the value VTEX solutions add to their businesses.

 

Who you are

You are a senior account executive at a high-performance software company;

You have at least 4 years of software sales closing experience;

You have an established network of contacts in the Italian retail and ecommerce market;

You have direct ecommerce-related knowledge, including an understanding of front-end, back-end, integration, system architectures, CMS, OMS and marketplace functions;

You can learn and adapt quickly;

You are resourceful and don’t expect to be told all you need to do;

You tackle problems with a structured and technical approach;

You are interested in having an overall technical understanding of ecommerce & technology;

You are willing to work remotely and travel for business;

You live in Milan or are willing to commute weekly to our office;

You are fluent in Italian and based in Italy;

You are fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
