In this role, you will work closely across the organization in support of various legal matters, with a primary focus on supporting the Americas sales team. This role is ideal for an ambitious counsel who desires exposure to a wide variety of issues and the opportunity to grow alongside a high-growth cybersecurity SaaS business.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you’ll play a critical role in counseling our business and improving our legal team as we scale globally.

What will you accomplish?

  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, DPAs, channel agreements, and NDAs.
  • Continuously improve our templates, forms, enablement resources, and processes to streamline and simplify deals and product/service erms.
  • Develop and conduct training for business teams on legal best practices, effective legal engagement, and current legal/regulatory matters.
  • Stay updated on relevant industry standards, laws, and regulations, including data privacy laws, and establish appropriate corporate policies and processes to help the company scale effectively.
  • Other projects, given your interest areas and the needs of a growing company, may include product and privacy compliance, intellectual property, marketing, employment, and general corporate matters.
  • What do we need from you?

  • 4+ years experience in software licensing and commercial contracting at a law firm, in-house or a combination of both.
  • Active member of a state bar.
  • What will give you an edge?

  • Experience supporting a SaaS sales organization across U.S. markets.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with finance, revenue accounting, and deal desk teams.
  • Experience using sales and contracting software (e.g. Hubspot, Ironclad, Docusign).
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience in cybersecurity. If not, you’ll demonstrate an appetite to learn.
  • What's in it for you?

  • Rapidly growing user base: Work directly with some of the world’s largest, fastest-growing, and most innovative companies.
  • Interesting problems, at scale: Deeply explore the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity, with a platform processing billions of data points daily.
  • Learn from industry-leading experts: Our security research has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, TechCrunch, Bloomberg, Gizmodo, Engadget, Forbes, ZDNet, and The Guardian.
