We are seeking a remote Business Development Representative (BDR) with over 4+ years of experience in business development, specifically targeting the US region within the service industry and engineering services domain. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision-makers within enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for discovering qualified opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting via cold calling and email campaigns, and for bringing in business deals.

Responsibilities

  • Prospects for potential new clients within our target market: Insurance domain.
  • Outbound Sales Funnel Management: Manage the complete outbound sales funnel, engage with prospects, understand their requirements, and qualify them.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Initiate telephonic contact with potential customers, creating initial interest and positioning our solutions effectively.
  • Call Campaigns: Execute various call campaigns and meet or exceed the assigned quota of connects per day.
  • Presentation Skills: Articulate key selling points, features, and benefits while focusing on the prospect's needs and expectations.
  • Meeting Scheduling: Persuade relevant contacts for in-person or phone meetings.
  • Email Campaigns: Launch targeted cold email campaigns to generate interest and leads.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with US counterparts to ensure seamless communication and strategy alignment.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Must have over 4+ years of experience in business development, specifically in Insurance vertical.
  • Desirable Market Exposure: Must have exp. in selling in the US Corporate market.
  • Service Industry: Proven track record of bringing in business deals within the Insurance sector.
  • Proven Track Record: Effectively communicate the selling points of insurance products through phone and email. Solid understanding of the insurance sales process and lifecycle, with experience collaborating with the Sales Operations team.
  • Shift: Comfortable working in US shifts.
  • Cold-calling: At least 3 years of Cold calling exp. is mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • B2B Campaigns: Extensive experience working on B2B campaigns.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficient with the internet, Word, and Excel; familiarity with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com, is highly desirable.
  • Client Understanding: Ability to understand client requirements and tailor conversations to meet those needs.
  • Resilience: Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to handle rejection.
  • Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently.
