Processing payments received into Complete Care from Insurance companies for a patient's account and clearing any discrepancies related to it.

What does a day in the life of a Posting Specialist (CSR) look like?

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform job-related functions.

Processing checks received into Patient accounts in accordance with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) received from Insurance companies.

Calling Insurance companies for missing EOBs.

Reviewing discrepancies in posting and confirming accuracy.

Updating structured data fields within our electronic medical record system.

Achieving posting deadlines throughout each month.

What are the required qualifications of a Posting Specialist (CSR)?

Knowledge of medical billing/collection practices.

Knowledge of computer programs and business office procedures.

Knowledge of basic medical coding and third-party operating procedures and practices preferred.

Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.

Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.

Must possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills with staff.

Must be well organized and detail-oriented.

Technology and Remote Requirements:

A computer system with a minimum of 2 monitors and internet speeds no lower than 50mbps.

A camera, audio and microphone capabilities for training through Microsoft Teams.

Preferable wired internet to WIFI to maintain consistent connectivity.

A quiet and secure space, free from distractions and security in compliance to HIPAA for patient information.
