We’re on the hunt to fill out our team with a digital designer within the growing Sixth Avenue Studio team, our internal creative agency at Smarsh. You will support our two senior digital designers in the creation of product marketing and lead generation content, as well as traditional marcom assets. You will help develop and produce a wide range of digital and print creative assets to support marketing and business functions, including demand generation, product marketing, events and partner marketing. This role will support cross-functional teams and execute design projects across the company. We value the ability to re-imagine traditional content execution and delivery as interactive, engaging outreach that differentiates our brand and drives demand for our products.

How will you contribute?

  • Responsible for execution of design projects across the company including digital, print, social and more
  • Collaborate with senior design team members to create and iterate on design concepts that align with company and product messaging and themes. Execute and publish high-quality creative assets for print and digital projects
  • Ensure brand consistency by creating templates for company use, including datasheets, guides, PowerPoint and Word
  • Exercise process and workflow management. Become an adept user of ClickUp project management platform to deliver projects on time
  • Assist with filing and version control of completed files using our Digital Asset Management platform
  • What will you bring?

  • Education from a Design or Graphic Arts school for BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing or Art preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of design experience and solid portfolio
  • Strong design skills applied across multi-channel mediums including web pages, e-book/documents, infographics, Word, PowerPoint, video, digital banners for social and paid media, in addition to physical events and corporate projects
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with Microsoft programs including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Teams preferred
  • Strong ability to learn quickly and assimilate complex information into storytelling through design
  • Excellent creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
  • Thrive in a collaborative, team environment – be confident in your skills, but check your ego at the door
  • A positive attitude is a must - we like friendly, talented people! Be able to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with all co-workers
  • Demonstrate intelligent thinking, strong organizational skills and an eye for detail and accuracy while creating thoughtful, compelling design that fascinates, inspires, rewards and engages
  • Comfortable with and receptive to feedback; desire to quickly to address feedback
  • Continue to research, learn and share new practices for our betterment
  • Nice to Have:

  • Skills in WordPress or similar website platforms
  • Web design, digital media and print design practices and standards
  • Experience with video editing and/or animation a plus
