As an

Account Manager in NextPay, you'll play a key role in helping us grow the company bybuilding and managing relationshipswithkey customers who are currently using the finance platform and payroll services.

You'll work cross-functionally with the Sales, Product, and Customer Operations teams to help manage customer accounts, manage the onboarding and ongoing service process, gain insights and deliver feedback to the team to help develop our amazing product and service.

You'll also be part of a team that is scrappy, meaning you'll be given the necessary resources, but are expected to be proactive and responsible for your day-to-day output. The ideal candidate is independent, resourceful, empathic, and does not shy away from deliver amazing customer service to our clients.

This is a full-time remote employment position (you'll be working from home). As such, a stable internet connection is necessary.

What you gotta do

  • Authentically represent NextPay in establishing a professional, working, and consultative relationship with our current customers, which can include founders and C-level positions for mid-to-large accounts. You'll achieve this by fully understanding the unique business needs of each account you manage, and assisting them with their needs pertaining to the NextPay platform or Service
  • You will be handling multiple clients, so calendar organization, deadline management, and great communication skills are non-negotiable.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams (sales, product, and customer operations) to truly provide the most amazing customer experience for all of our users.
  • Be one of the main points of contact for addressing existing key customers' inquiries
  • Contribute to team strategy by monitoring market trends, tracking client account metrics and behaviors, and collecting and distilling feedback from clients to hand over to the product and growth teams
  • Help forecast and track client account metrics
  • Conduct video demos when needed of our platform and other forms of assistance to assist customers
  • Contribute to the growth of the team and culture by helping us refine the product, and team process, and being your awesome self
  • Our ideal candidate has

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in related role/s
  • A strong, independent, resourceful, and empathetic Customer Consultancy mindset
  • An opportunistic attitude that can turn any situation into opportunities for retention, partnerships, or collaboration
  • Solid experience with project management, sales, customer service, and/or account management (process-driven and problem-solving skills)
  • Good interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills; definitely not too shy to chat or present to teams, and contribute to discussions or ask questions
  • Great English/Filipino communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with online tools (Spreadsheets, Databases (CRMs), Cloud, Presentation Tools, Email, Web Browsers, Communication Tools, Scheduling Tools; Social Media)
  • A "Growth Mindset" and eagerness to learn and receive constructive feedback in a fast-paced environment
  • A stable internet connection and can function well remotely and independently
  • REQUIRED: Strong experience in CRM software like Hubspot or Salesforce
  • REQUIRED: Proven experience in working with SaaS products and payroll services
  • BONUS: Experience in other fintech and tech companies, especially in a startup environment
