Netflix seeks an experienced transactional lawyer to provide legal support for its Europe Middle East and Africa operations. The successful candidate will support the Netflix partnerships team (i.e. business development, product innovation, finance, partner marketing, network) in establishing strategic partnerships across a wide range of partners in the telecommunications, internet service providers, and consumer electronic spaces, and provide legal counseling with respect to a wide range of topics related to Netflix's EMEA operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have 9+ years of broad-based international transactional experience, preferably with a focus on technology, telecommunications, and/or the media industry. This includes familiarity with civil law jurisdictions (and common law desirable). In-house experience is preferred. Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex partnership arrangements, including outbound and inbound licensing agreements, distribution agreements, and marketing agreements. Experience with consumer protection and e-commerce laws is a plus. Fluency in English is required, and working knowledge of an additional EMEA language is preferable.
