Loadsmart is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead several product squads toward the next evolution of B2B digital solutions to tackle the ongoing challenges of the freight and logistics industry.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally owning product management of critical areas of the digital ecosystem, from ideation through commercial launch, working across the product areas with other Product Leaders and Engineering Leaders to transform the way customers can “move more with less.”

With your deep product management experience, you will be an influential figure in the product team and you will contribute to transformative strategic plans that not only achieve product visions but also influence broader business strategy and standards.

DEPARTMENT: Product

LOCATION: Brazil - Remote.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Represent the business and promote the product by advocating for its value and benefits to customers, at executive briefings, marketing events, online consumer platforms, and so forth.
  • Own the strategic planning and management of our entire Warehouse facing product portfolio, conducting relevant product research; establishing competitive intelligence and various market analyses to support the strategy.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the domains in your division and provide guidance to the leadership team into customer needs, business strategy, marketplace dynamics and competitors
  • Own the OKR setting process for your teams, working closely with business partners to ensure all teams working towards the same goals.
  • Plan the structure of your team, managing headcount, succession planning, external hires and internal transfers.
  • Work closely with the product leadership team to set standards for the product team. Partner with engineering leads to ensure the teams of PM’s, designers and engineers are operating effectively at all levels.
  • Manage cross-team dynamics to ensure the entire team is successful, proactively instituting process improvements across your team, e.g., review and provide feedback on roadmaps, strategic plans and feature specs.
  • Communicate status and challenges to upper management and across to stakeholders as you work cross-functionally with other teams to execute features and ensure a cohesive integration across the broader organization.
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management managing software products from inception through launch and iteration
  • 5+ years of experience building, mentoring, and leading a world-class team of Product Managers at various levels to deliver business results
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS products, taking early stage software solutions toward a successful goal of product-market-fit
  • Experience in high growth environments, particularly in B2B SaaS and with areas of the product that are revenue sensitive
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, UX and UI, and brokering trade offs with stakeholders.
  • Experience translating commercial business models/needs into technical solutions that solve important needs and challenges of B2B customers.
  • Experience with hypotheses-driven and numbers-orientated execution whereby product dollar impact is explicitly measured and managed
  • Experience aligning key stakeholders on an inspiring vision and a crystal clear strategy, centered on intimate knowledge of customer insights, pain points and opportunities to delight, as well as market and competition insights
  • Ability to drive world class agile execution and testing velocity, by constantly developing internal team and capabilities
