Role Overview
As the Director of Sales & Business Development, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our top-line growth. You'll lead a dynamic team focused on inbound sales, while also strategically incorporating elements of business development and partnership opportunities. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a winning sales strategy, fostering a high-performing sales culture, and exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of SMB Sales Representatives
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy focused on inbound lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition
Sales Operations: Establish and maintain efficient sales processes and workflows to optimize performance
Metrics & Analysis: Set clear goals, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
Business Development & Partnerships: Explore and establish strategic partnerships to expand reach and drive new customer acquisition
Forecasting & Revenue Growth: Develop accurate sales forecasts and consistently exceed ambitious revenue targets
Customer Focus: Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle, fostering long-term relationships Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership, preferably within the SMB space
Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving ambitious revenue targets
Strong understanding of various sales methodologies and best practices
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve peak performance
Experience building and scaling sales teams from the ground up (a plus)
Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for strategic decision making
Passion for building strong customer relationships

Compensation is variable and is subject to a candidate’s personal qualifications and expectations. For candidates based in the SF Bay Area we offer the following OTE range: $180,000 - $220,000 per year.
