Senior Software Engineer (FE)

Crowdbotics is looking for a Front-end Senior Software Engineer to join our customer facing team. This team will build software for our customers leveraging the Crowdbotics platform. The team will own the technical architecture, engineering, and maintenance of the custom software being developed. Our backend API and services power the Crowdbotics platform that you and our customers use to create applications with minimal coding, initiate and monitor application development projects, and manage all aspects of their application lifecycle.

Responsibilities

As a front-end software engineer, you will work with our core services team to build and maintain custom solutions for our customers’ applications.

• Write modern, clean JavaScript / TypeScript using Vue.js and React.js and following best-practices and ES6.
• Work with designers to build HTML, CSS, and JS from Figma designs.
• Help product managers with technical plans and create specifications for upcoming tasks.
• Investigate and fix bugs.
• Assist team members with code reviews and identify and implement improvements for the code and software quality.
• Communicate effectively with remote team members using real-time and asynchronous communications.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 6 years experience building user interfaces with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proven experience with Vue.js and/or React.js and a strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with React Native and Django development is a plus.
• An eye for design and experience implementing high-quality UI/UX solutions.
• Proficiency with git.
• An understanding of REST API integration.
• Full understanding of the HTTP protocol as well as the REST architecture. gRPC is a plus;
• Knowledge of UI accessibility standards is a plus;
• Experience working with remote teams and the ability to work independently in a remote setting and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to help customers succeed.
• Previous experience on successful services projects on Fortune 100 accounts is a plus.
• Have billed your time on customer facing software development teams is a plus.
• Travel is not expected for this role, however the need may arise and will be planned with you ahead of time.
• You have built an app with Crowdbotics App Builder is a plus.

Although this position is remote, you will need to be available and working during US business hours (9:00am to 5:00pm US)
