Location: Plano, TX 2+ days a week in office (Open to a remote hire for the right candidate)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our Customer Success Operations organization. In this role you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of diagnostic and automation tools for customer support  and success teams. Your primary goal will be to optimize customer support and success processes by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build intuitive and efficient tools for the purpose of technical diagnostics and automation. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain diagnostic and automation tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of customer support teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and customer success teams, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications and components, ensuring high quality and robustness.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding best practices and company standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues as they arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to gather feedback, understand pain points, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of software applications in production environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven backend development experience using Python, Java, Ruby, or similar programming language
  • 5+ years in front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • 3+ years of experience working in a microservices environment developing a SAAS application in a public cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP) 
  • 3+ years using various data stores such as MongoDB, ELK, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Splunk, and Redshift
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, including agile development.
  • An enthusiastic self-learner who can confidently embrace new technologies, conduct research to discover innovative solutions, and successfully deliver results
  • Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively manage context switches

Nice to Have Qualifications: 

  • Solid knowledge of computer networking fundamentals incl hardware (switches, routers, access points, etc), OSI model, and essential protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, etc)

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$147,000

$210,000 USD
