Team

The Engineering & Data team builds innovative tech products and platforms to support the impressive growth of their gaming and consumer apps which allow Voodoo to stay at the forefront of the mobile industry. The Engineering & Data team plays a key role in Voodoo’s long-term strategy. It enables Voodoo to both accelerate product diversification and provide a state of the art growth-engine to distribute and scale our games. They create innovative solutions that drive growth with a pragmatic approach, ranging from simple searching to complex machine learning systems.

You will join Voodoo's Ad Network team, which is part of the Engineering & Data department. Our Ad Network project is a crucial initiative, connecting advertisers in real-time with mobile apps that want to host advertisements. By joining this team, you will have a significant impact on our ad tech initiatives, working in a fast-paced environment that values innovation and excellence.

We are looking for an Experienced Android SDK Engineer who is deeply passionate about building high-performance, scalable SDKs. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our Android SDK, which is integral to our Ad Network. Your work will directly impact the experience of hundreds of millions of users and contribute to the success of our advertising platform.

The role requires to be onsite (Paris) 3 days a week.

Role

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Android SDK to support our Ad Network.
  • Create innovative ad formats to maximize performance and user experience.
  • Enable our integration with various third parties (ad mediations, measurement partners, etc.).
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our SDK remains up to date with the latest industry standards.
  • Must haves

  • 3+ years of professional experience as an Android engineer.
  • Strong grasp of Android SDK and related development tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
  • Familiarity with implementing and utilizing asynchronous programming techniques, such as Coroutines and Flow.
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose for creating modern, responsive, and dynamic user interfaces.
  • Proficiency in unit/UI testing frameworks like Espresso, MockK/Mockito, and Robolectric.
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and deal with change.
  • Pragmatic, adaptable, and result-oriented with a problem-solving approach.
  • Nice to have

  • Experience with mobile advertising (ad formats, mediation stack, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD.
