IntroductionOur Network teams have a maniacal focus on delivering world class network infrastructure by way of top notch automation on top of modern architectural and design concepts. Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe build world class layer 3 Clos fabrics, that support the most demanding AI/ML and VFX workloads. Wait…we said that above…lets talk about you, and how you’ll be doing that! As our next amazing Network Engineer and purveyor of fine packets, you will be a critical part of a small team of highly motivated, and incredibly talented network engineers. Your day to day will include deploying datacenter fabrics at hyperscale, operationalizing deployed datacenters, learning new skills, leveraging automation frameworks developed by our NetDev’s to achieve the impossible…okay, you’ll achieve the really really hard for sure! But most importantly, you’ll be part of a super dynamic team with amazing skillsets, attitudes, and outlooks, and company behind an industry movement that the general IaaS and Cloud industry hasn’t seen the likes of, since the early days of hyperscale cloud.
Qualifications7+ years of experience in the following areas:
- A great attitude and a willingness to help those more junior, and learn from those more senior.
- Networking Vendors - Mellanox, Juniper, Nokia, Arista, Cisco etc...
- Experience with Datacenter routing protocols - BGP, VXLAN, EVPN
- 10 bonus points for basic Python & Shell scripting knowledge
- Basic understanding in working with a source of truth (Netbox, Nautobot etc..)
- Basic working knowledge of how to use Github
- Are you a Jinja Ninja? Bring on some Ansible with it and show us!
- Understanding of TCP/IP - We need you to ACK that you understand!
- Must be willing to learn how to use Automation Frameworks. You don’t have to write all the code, but you need to learn how to consume it!
- Observability & Telemetry concepts - gNMI, SNMP via Prometheus etc..
- Participation in the Network Engineering On-Call rotation
- Linux Operating System experience
Nice-to-haves:
- 3+ years experience directly or indirectly helping deploy & manage network infrastructure
- Direct or Indirect experience working with Service Provider networks
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $175,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
