CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build sustained, community-based response programs to natural disasters. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CORE GA provides free vaccinations and additional resources to disadvantaged communities and emerging hotspots around Georgia. This is accomplished through maintaining strategic partnerships with local health agencies and community-based organizations to reach high-risk populations in vulnerable areas.

Responsibilities:

Process order requests for teams across California

Organize pallets on racking and items shelving throughout the warehouse.

Maintain a clean work environment.

Receive, inventory, and store all incoming shipments in the proper location in the warehouse.

Conduct precise inventory counts in the warehouse and communicate any discrepancies to the Warehouse Management team.

Assist with ensuring the technology inventory is current and accounting for all tech assets.

Organize and properly palletize materials for shipments and deliveries.

Load vehicles and trucks with materials to be sent off for deliveries and/or deployments.

Assist in maintaining the upkeep of the warehouse and office space.

Fulfill any specific requests of the Logistics or Warehouse Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of one year of Warehouse and/or Logistics experience.

Proficiency in the operation of a manual and electric pallet jack, forklift, and reach truck for pallet racking and moving.

Proficiency in pallet wrapping and/or utilizing a pallet wrapping machine.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (including MS Word, Excel, etc.)

Readiness to commit and adhere to the values, mission and vision of CORE.

Excellent writing, reporting, and communication skills.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Well-organized and proactive approach to managing tasks

Required Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to and from work.

Lift up to 50 pounds and push carts up to 60 pounds.

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment for an entire shift.

Must be able to stand at two-hour intervals in personal protective equipment.

Work a full 40-hour work week.

In accordance with CA law, the expected pay range for this CA position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
