We’re looking for a Vice President to support our Product, Compliance Essentials team.

This can be a remote position (must be located in the United States).

Position Summary

The Vice President of Product, Compliance Essentials is responsible for driving the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the Compliance Essentials platform. This role will oversee and guide cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts and senior product managers, to create a comprehensive compliance management solution.

You will have end-to-end ownership of the Compliance Essentials product, including defining the long-term vision, strategy, and go-to-market plans. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer-facing teams to ensure the product meets customer needs and drives business growth. You will create and execute on the vision of Compliance Essentials, delivering compliance automation and GRC-like value to customers while driving service delivery efficiency and other internal business outcomes simultaneously.

Additionally, you will manage the integration and alignment of various internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring organizational alignment around product launches and updates.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Compliance Essentials, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Lead and manage two sub-organizations: a team of principal-level subject matter experts and two senior product managers overseeing engineering sprint teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions and drive innovation.
  • Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and launch plans.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent the product at executive-level meetings, industry events, and customer engagements, serving as a thought leader and evangelist.
  • Develop and manage the product budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with business objectives.
  • What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, including several years in a leadership position for B2B SaaS product/platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of the product management practices in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Successful track record in B2B SaaS products/platforms, ideally for large enterprises.
  • Extensive experience in the information security compliance and risk management space.
  • Deep understanding of compliance regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts and product managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, roadmap development, and execution.
  • The ability to make business and product decisions under pressure, and own the outcome.
  • Build, hire, and develop high performing and empowered product teams.
  • The ability to make trade-off decisions, including a strong understanding of what is technically feasible.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams in a product management environment.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a focus on customer needs and business impact.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences including large groups and executives.
  • Exceptional quantitative and qualititative data analysis skills to gain insight into product needs and generate ideas.
  • Keen understanding of agile product development methodologies
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to successfully lead complex product go-to-market activity and launches incorporating stakeholders across the enterprise such as legal, sales, marketing, product, engineering, and service delivery functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Bonus Points

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in product, compliance, or information security fields such as Certified Product Manager (CPM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Scrum Master, or Scrum Product Owner
  • Experience in the financial services, healthcare, federal contractor, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR, and similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and architectures.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level customers and understanding their unique needs.

The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
