We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our Product Team. This is a hybrid role based out in Bangalore, India Reporting to the Manager, Technical Publications,

Responsibilities/What You'll Do

Translate technical information into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Deliver post-sales content for online documentation (i.e., help articles, release notes, etc.) and provide UI text (i.e., UI tooltips, labels, error messages, etc.) for use by our UX and Engineering teams.
Integrate graphics and illustrations to improve the quality and usability of the documentation.
Work with SMEs in the Engineering, Field Support, Sales, Training, and Product Marketing groups.
Lead other technical writers on the team, and assist with documentation
Project scheduling and management.
Help define standards, style, and terminology.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

5+ years of experience in technical writing.
Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, or a related field (i.e., technical writing/communications certifications are also acceptable).
Think and write in context with the target audience and good to have mentoring experience.
Experience writing REST API documentation.
Hands-on experience with Open API Specification (Swagger) and JSON.
Hands-on experience with JIRA.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience writing online help and knowledge base articles.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience in network or cloud security.
Experience with web-based or mobile products.
Hands-on experience with HTML5/CSS.
