We're looking for an experienced Deputy Manager - Tax to join our Tax Team. Reporting to the Associate Director -Tax, you'll be responsible for:

Undertake direct and indirect compliances for Indian group companies
Preparation and review of corporate income tax, TDS, GST calculations and filing of returns within time
Calculation of advance tax liabilities and ensuring payments within time
Prepare monthly tax reconciliations and tax journal entries
Undertake research on complex tax issues arising in India
This is a remote role but you'll be expected in Mohali office for at least 3 days per quarter

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

Chartered Accountant with 5 to 7 years of experience in direct and indirect tax compliances at a multinational organisation
Proactiveness in execution of assignments
Excellent eye for details
Team player
Identify problems and reach to a solution through logical reasoning

What Will Make You Stand Out

Knowledge of tax accounting and India tax (direct and indirect tax) compliances.
Experience working for a U.S. multinational.
Fluency in English (speaking and writing)A
