Position Overview: The Technical Marketing Officer (TMO) at Xsolla will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that resonate with game developers, technical game entrepreneurs, and founders of game studios. This role requires a deep understanding of game tech and fintech payment solutions, as well as the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing demos. The TMO will lead and mentor a small team, ensuring alignment with Xsolla's business objectives and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy focusing on Xsolla’s payment solutions for game developers and studios.
  • Align marketing strategies with Xsolla’s business objectives and growth goals in the fintech payments space.
  • Manage release schedules and public roadmaps for new payment features and solutions.
  • Create and oversee the production of technical content, demos, technical blogs, webinars, and video tutorials highlighting Xsolla’s payment solutions.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and specifically tailored to the needs and interests of game developers and technical audiences.
  • Deliver tech talks at major industry conferences, with a focus on fintech innovations and payment processing in the gaming industry.
  • Discord Community: Build and manage a Discord community supported by the Xsolla backend to attract and engage technical and product talents. Facilitate discussions, Q&A sessions, and community events.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Xsolla’s payment platform and related solutions.
  • Create detailed technical documentation and support materials for product launches, emphasizing payment features and benefits.
  • Create and maintain interactive demo tools on Xsolla.com to allow technical buyers to explore and understand the capabilities of Xsolla’s payment platform firsthand.
  • Utilize data analytics to understand customer behavior, campaign performance, and market trends related to payment processing.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives, particularly in the payment solutions sector.
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in technical marketing or a senior marketing role within the fintech or gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies for technical products, with a focus on fintech payment solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of payment processing technologies and their applications within the gaming industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing high-quality technical content, including blogs, webinars, video tutorials, and whitepapers, specifically targeted at technical audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with data analytics tools and CRM systems, such as Google Analytics, Tableau, HubSpot, and Salesforce, to track and measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with at least 3 years of experience in leading and mentoring marketing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with experience delivering technical talks at major industry conferences and events.
