The Role: Account Executive III, Outbound
Based in Boston, MA, this hybrid role focuses on outbound prospecting to generate new business and accelerate revenue growth. You will own the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to close, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Customer Success to drive customer success and retention.
Responsibilities
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns to target accounts in designated segments.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and conduct discovery calls to uncover customer needs.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline; forecast accurately and meet or exceed quotas.
- Lead product demonstrations and tailor solutions to customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Marketing to optimize messaging and with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Negotiate terms, draft proposals, and drive deals to closure.
- Maintain up-to-date information in the CRM and provide accurate activity reporting.
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful outbound B2B sales or SaaS sales experience; track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and maintain an organized pipeline.
- Experience with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, forecasting, outreach automation).
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors is a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
