Put simply, when it comes down to it Xero is and has always been a culture-first business. Our Organisational Development (OD) team work to amplify the voice and talent of employees by developing great leaders and teams who perform their best work.

You will be a key player in helping us to create and deliver on our Organisational Development strategy and key priorities. Specifically you will be responsible for helping us operationalise and manage our OD initiatives, processes and ongoing cadences across a wide range of OD areas including Talent, Wellbeing, Leadership, Capability and DEI. You will drive and support the design and implementation of globally consistent OD processes at scale and deliver beautiful experiences for Xeros, and enable integrated programs of work across the People Experience (PX) function.

What you’ll do

• Working closely with the OD leadership team, you will deliver on a range of global initiatives and priorities across Wellbeing, Talent, Leadership, Capability and DIB.

• Co-design and deliver OD programs of work aligned to the PX strategy and priorities.

• Partner with the OD Leadership team to lead cyclical activity for talent and succession management processes, including identification, assessment, development and mobility

• Partner and build excellent relationships within the business and across PX to understand business priorities, needs and use OD programs and initiatives to support business objectives

• Designing and building OD frameworks to support building capability of our people

• Partner with our Learning Experience team to deliver impactful in-person and online OD content and training for our people where required

• Content creation for Learning Hub, Internal Communications and Xpresso (internal comms channel) across the OD, Wellbeing and DIB portfolios

• Use a data-driven approach to inform internal audiences, measure success of existing programs and initiatives and identify additional opportunities for continued improvement

• Partner with the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Wellbeing champions to facilitate and support them to deliver against their annual operating plans, create internal events and initiatives to support wellbeing, inclusion and belonging for our people

Cultural competence - Ability to work with diverse groups to ensure that OD interventions are inclusive and respectful.

Systems Thinking & Integration - Skillful at designing holistic approaches and integrated solutions

Capability Development - ability to diagnose, design and implement capability frameworks and programs

Data Literacy and Insights - ability to interpret data and trends to derive insights and make informed decisions

Experience

• Experience in generalist OD role including delivery of prioritized programs of work

• Experience in delivery in situations requiring self direction

• Proven ability to apply OD best practice, working across Leadership, Talent, Wellbeing, DIB, Capability aligned to business needs

• Track record of managing confidential information with discretion

• Experience in coaching leaders and a passion for developing people and helping them reach their potential

• Track record of co-designing and delivering programs of work aligned to the OD agenda

• A HR qualification, or relevant functional experience

• Experience in integrating technology as part of system solutions

• Demonstrated experience in utilising data-driven insights to inform and drive OD initiatives
