AdTech Engineer - (Remote, US)
Wurl is seeking an AdTech Engineer to operate Wurl’s Ad Technology platform with a team of other motivated engineers to drive monetization revenue across Wurl’s advertising products. Wurl's cutting-edge advertising products generate billions of ad requests each month across Connected TV, offering an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As an AdTech Engineer you'll be the configuration, monitoring, and evolution of Wurl’s ad ecosystem, playing a critical role in customer success by on-boarding new clients, optimizing campaigns, and integrating partner solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a strong technical background and experience in CTV ad operations.
What You'll Do
- Manage Wurl’s ad insertion and serving infrastructure
- Implement, QA and troubleshoot supply and demand connections across all Wurl Products
- Analyze inventory and demand performance and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Drive solutions with Wurl’s supply and demand partners to improve advertising revenue
- Collaborate with vendors to increase and improve advertising revenue
- Collaborate with engineering to improve products
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in technical ad operations
- Experience in configuring ad servers
- Experience in digital programmatic advertising, CTV experience is preferred
- Understanding of VAST, SCTE-35, RTB and ad serving concepts
- Direct experience working with SSP or DSP platforms
- Familiarity with concepts such as cue insertion, transcoding, monetization analytics
- Ability to script/perform SQL queries preferred
- Big plus: experience with ABR video delivery
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Location: US remote

Wurl provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this [CA based or North America based] position is $121,000 - $167,000. Base compensation at Wurl is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
