We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team. This role will provide analytical support, conduct detailed financial analyses, and contribute to strategic planning efforts in partnership with our product teams. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting high-impact projects and ensuring our decisions are data-driven and aligned with WHOOP goals.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and refining the company’s strategic goals and objectives. Provide support in translating these goals into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategic priorities.
Develop detailed financial models to evaluate potential return on investment for new products and initiatives. Build robust business cases to support decision-making, ensuring financial viability and strategic alignment.
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to support product development and growth strategies. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and identify new opportunities for growth.
Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Manage specific work streams within larger strategic projects, coordinating efforts and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Work closely with product, growth, and marketing teams, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives are well-communicated and understood.
Identify potential partnership and M&A opportunities by generating ideas and screening for executive review, enabling WHOOP to make strategic investments that drive value.
Foster strong relationships across departments to facilitate collaboration and alignment. Qualifications:
We are looking for a business athlete - someone who is intellectually curious, thrives on solving complex problems, can operate across a wide variety of situations, and approaches their work with humility and honesty.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, corporate strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills are a must, including the ability to perform rigorous financial and valuation analyses and to work with key operational metrics.
The ability to communicate effectively and influence others is essential, along with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
Proactive, independent thinker with a growth mindset and strong business acumen.
Excitement for working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
SQL skills are a bonus, enhancing data analysis capabilities and efficiency. Additional Information
