VP of Strategy and Corporate Development

📋 Description

• Partner with leaders to shape Growth, Monetization, Language Learning, and New Subjects.
• Generate insights to influence product experiments.
• Lead company-wide strategy and planning; align direction and resources.
• Drive growth via M&A, aligned with strategy; partner with product and exec teams.
• Own Corporate Development end-to-end: source, evaluate, negotiate, close acquisitions.
• Lead and manage Strategy, Business Operations, and Corporate Development teams (~10).

🎯 Requirements

• 20+ years in strategy, consulting, M&A, or product management with tech experience.
• Understanding of Duolingo’s business and growth opportunities.
• Track record of success in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments.
• Experience working closely with product and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Leadership with ability to work from Pittsburgh or NYC on a 4+1 hybrid.
