📋 Description

• Set 18–24 month tech strategy across platform, data, reliability, and AI.
• Drive multi-region/active-active architectures with SLIs/SLOs and budgets.
• Use DORA metrics to improve lead time, deployment frequency, MTTR, and failure rate.
• Partner with Product leaders to facilitate software projects.
• Build EM/Director/Staff+ bench; coach managers; create career plans.
• Raise engineering quality via lightweight design docs and high-signal code reviews; security by design.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in software; 5+ years leading EMs/Directors across orgs of 50–100+.
• Consistent bar-raiser in recruiting, hiring, and coaching engineers.
• Demonstrated high-integrity decision making.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems: partitioning, consensus, backpressure, idempotency, caches, data integrity.
• Operate tier-1, high-throughput, low-latency multi-region cloud; on-call/inc leadership.
• Proven adoption of DORA/four keys; improved velocity and stability.
