- Develop and test CAN-based telematics devices.
- Collaborate with the global CAN Engineering team on vehicle comms (ELD/telematics).
- Debug and modify embedded CAN software on devices to fix bus issues.
- Use CANalyzer, PCAN, and scripting tools for troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot CAN Bus across passenger and commercial vehicles.
- Develop testing procedures and maintain a library of Data Bus logs.
๐ฏ Requirements
- 5+ years with CAN bus telematics (J1939/OBDII/UDS)
- C/C++ firmware on microcontrollers; USB/UART/SPI/I2C
- Reverse engineer vehicle data bus parameters/PIDs
- Vehicle simulators: CANalyzer, AU Simulators, Vehicle Spy Pro
- RTOS/autocar RTOS on MCUs; write/test scripts
- Strong debugging, diagnostics, wiring, and field experience
