Our Client

The client is an esports league joint venture between the National Basketball Association and Take-Two Interactive. The league, under its original form, was announced in 2017 with its inaugural season taking place in 2018.


Job Summary

Work with data end-to-end: exploring, cleaning, and assembling large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements. Analyze and organize raw data from multiple sources, interpret trends and patterns, and maintain reliable data pipelines across all ingestion points.

Create and maintain data pipelines that integrate licensed data, partner feeds, social platforms, and any scraped or external sources. Develop ETL/ELT processes that support analytics, performance, and scalability.

Manage and operate tools that provide insights into usage, customer acquisition, content performance, and operational efficiency. Work with relational and cloud-based storage systems and extract value from large heterogeneous datasets.

Build analytics-ready outputs and models that enable self-service and trustworthy insights across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain pipelines that integrate licensed data, partner feeds, social platforms, scraped datasets, and other external sources.

  • Develop ETL/ELT processes optimized for analytics performance, data integrity, and scalability.

  • Manage and operate tools that provide insights into usage, acquisition, content performance, and operational efficiency.

  • Work with relational and cloud-based storage systems, extracting value from large, heterogeneous datasets.

  • Build analytics-ready outputs, curated datasets, and data models that enable trustworthy, self-service insights across the organization.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python.

  • Experience with Pandas and/or PySpark for data processing.

  • Ability to consume and process data from APIs and external services.

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

  • Working knowledge of cloud object storage (e.g., blobs).

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and repository workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake.

  • Hands-on experience with Fivetran (data ingestion).

  • Experience supporting data warehouse implementations.

  • Strong SQL skills.

  • Experience collaborating with BI teams (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • Experience building data applications on cloud platforms.

  • Located in Latam.

  • Fluent English level.
