About The Role

The Trove Partnership team engages our partners to successfully connect them to Trove’s platform and offering to grow their recommerce businesses, demonstrate ongoing value of Trove’s service, and drive their loyalty and retention. This critical function is responsible for supporting new and existing partners, working closely with cross functional teams and providing ongoing partner support including commercial renewals. The Partnership team ensures a best-in-class recommerce experience to drive innovation and partner success. The Partnerships Director leads a team of Partnership Managers to deliver outsized impact at scale and drive recommerce innovation.   What You’ll Do 

  • Owning the post-sales and onboarding partner relationships with Fortune 500 retailers and brands
  • Act as a trusted thought leader to partners and create aligned account plans to grow their resale channel by delivering best practices, consultation and driving towards business outcomes in monthly business, marketing and strategy reviews 
  • Build your team and influence the broader company to deliver value to our partners at scale with repeatable partnership management playbooks and materials
  • Driving company efforts to strategically and rapidly expand and deepen our existing brand partner relationships and associated revenue
  • Partnering with the Product, Operations and Analytics teams to develop a set of recommerce best practices and thought leadership materials that can be strategically delivered across multiple partners
  • Developing, owning and improving partner health scores, KPIs, and OKRs
  • Developing supply and demand models to help partners plan and internal operations teams prioritize capacity
  • Supporting the business development team to sign new partners and complete new partner SOWs
  • Owning and maintaining contract renewal negotiations (MSAs and SOWs)
  • Drive internal prioritization across Analytics, Business Development, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to meet partner requirements 
  • Identifying opportunities for partners to act as Trove advocates (e.g. testimonials, case studies) and continuously gain support from the core business
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism, empathy, and business acumen across multiple partners at one time

Experience You Bring

  • Experience in ecommerce, retail, brand, SaaS, or consulting
  • Demonstrated experience of managing multiple commercial relationships
  • Experience managing and delivering results in small to medium sized high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated experience supporting technical product roadmaps, implementing software applications and/or providing strategic advisory services
  • Proven track record of driving strategic alignment between external and internal stakeholders and communicating to C-suite level stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated experience of managing multiple, complex workstreams at once
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable communicating to business leaders in a clear and effective manner
  • Influence. Proven track record of influencing complex, cross-functional decisions among both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Flexibility. Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change
  • Attention to detail. Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
  • Persistence. Demonstrates a willingness to go the distance to get something done
  • Impact. Able to quickly identify and address business opportunity areas to drive results. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make sound decisions
  • Ability to think horizontally across many partners and their needs and strategically connect those needs to multiple functions’ roadmaps within Trove
  • Self-starter with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-paced and high growth start-up environment

Trove is committed to creating an equitable and transparent workplace. The annual compensation range for this position is $151,520-$227,135 plus competitive equity. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, location and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
