MGR Accounting Recruiters, a Teamshares Network company, is searching for a Benefits & Payroll Administrator for a client in San Antonio.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-time (hybrid) Payroll/Benefits Administrator to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ADP Payroll systems, benefits administration, and reconciliation processes. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing employee benefits, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 350 employees using ADP Payroll system
  • Review and input time and attendance data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Calculate and process various types of pay, including regular hours, overtime, bonuses, and commissions
  • Handle payroll adjustments, including retroactive pay, salary changes, and terminations
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other departments as needed
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution
  • Benefits Administration
  • Manage employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in ADP system
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and third-party administrators to ensure accurate benefits coverage
  • Assist employees with benefits-related questions and provide guidance on plan options
  • Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires
  • Prepare and distribute benefits-related communications to employees
  • Manage annual open enrollment process, including coordinating with vendors and assisting employees with selections
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations
  • Reconciliation and Reporting:
  • Perform regular reconciliations of payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy
  • Reconcile payroll tax accounts and prepare necessary reports for local, state, and federal agencies
  • Generate and analyze various HR reports using ADP reporting tools
  • Assist with audits related to payroll and benefits
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll and benefits data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation reports for management review
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ADP payroll processing, assisting employees with benefits and payroll accounting.
