MGR Accounting Recruiters, a Teamshares Network company, is searching for a manufacturing Cost Analyst for a client in the Seguin/Gonzales area.

The Cost Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on cost data for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost accounting principles and be able to use various software applications to analyze data.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze cost data from various sources, including invoices, purchase orders, and production records

Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives

Prepare and present cost reports to management

Work with other departments to identify and eliminate cost-saving opportunities

Stay up-to-date on the latest cost accounting principles and practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

2-5 years of experience in cost accounting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in office with 3 days working remotely!
