Staff Technical Lead Manager - AI Data Engine

📋 Description

• Build, lead, and manage a team of data and infrastructure engineers.
• Define team goals, priorities, and roadmap aligned with objectives.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career development.
• Define vision/strategy for storing metrics and ML datasets.
• Identify and evaluate tech to speed up data loaders, ingestion, and querying.
• Collaborate with ML research, training, and data teams; explain strategies to stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in data platform engineering.
• 3+ years in technical lead/management with 3-7 direct reports.
• Experience with petabyte-scale data platforms (warehouses, object storage, ML data stores).
• Experience with Airflow or Step Functions for workflows.
• Strong Python; C++ a plus.
• Knowledge of Parquet, Iceberg, Lance data formats.
• Cloud infra experience (AWS and/or GCP).
