Staff Systems Engineer - Safety

📋 Description

• Own the safety case framework and ensure it’s used across the org.
• Develop technical content supporting functional safety claims.
• Perform functional safety analyses: HARA, FMEA, FTA, DFA.
• Collaborate to support non-functional safety claims with statistical arguments.
• Lead software safety architecture for monitors on high-performance SoCs.
• Drive traceability between system requirements and software safety specs.
• Lead safety committee reviews internally and externally.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS/EE/CE/Robotics or related; 7+ yrs exp (MS 5+, PhD 2+).
• Strong ability to understand complex systems and perform software analysis.
• Systems engineering methods for complex software; FMEA, FTA, DFA, attack trees.
• Automotive functional safety standards ISO-26262 or similar.
• Experience in safety-critical software development processes.
• Expertise delivering ASIL D certified products.
• Strong engineering communication skills.
