- Own the design release of compute hardware, including mounting and integration.
- Drive the full product lifecycle from concept to sustaining engineering and improvements.
- Oversee engineering docs, BOM, specs, and test reports aligned to vehicle design.
- Define and maintain the Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) for targets.
- Lead the ECN process for compute hardware, ensuring traceability and cross-functional buy-in.
- Interface with Tier 1/2 suppliers, tracking part maturity through DV, PV, PPAP.
🎯 Requirements
- 8+ years in automotive hardware design and release, owning Domain Controllers, HPCs, or Telematics.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
- Deep technical understanding of compute architectures, high-speed data buses, and wireless connectivity.
- Fundamental knowledge of validation docs and processes, including DVP&R, DFMEA, PFMEA.
- Expert-level experience with BOM and ECN processes, and coordinating with external suppliers.
- Familiarity with CAD (NX, CATIA), PLM, and ISO 26262.
