• Own and evolve runtime environments for enterprise workloads.
• Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms.
• Design and implement scalable, secure hosting solutions on Kubernetes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and PM to align platform with business goals.
• Ensure security, reliability, observability, and performance across the platform.
• Contribute to strategic planning and shape the hosting roadmap.
• Advocate for platform engineering: self-service, standardization, automation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in Platform teams or DevOps-driven orgs.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, especially EKS.
• Hands-on Kubernetes: architecture, workload management, autoscaling, troubleshooting.
• Kubernetes ecosystem: Helm, Kustomize, Karpenter, containerization.
• IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD workflows.
• Git repo management, automation, and workflows.
• Bash scripting for automation.
• Java/Spring Boot experience is a plus.
• Experience designing multi-cluster Kubernetes at scale.
• Security-conscious, embedding security into CI/CD and production.
• Observability stacks with Grafana/Prometheus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Experience designing Kubernetes controllers and operators.
• RESTful API design principles; internal API development.
• Platform engineering practices, including self-service.
• Experience in regulated environments and compliant workloads.
• Software engineering background transitioning to Platform Engineering.
