Spotify Advertising is seeking an experienced B2B marketer in France to join the EMEA Demand Marketing team to support our mission to inspire advertisers and marketers to connect with billions of fans on Spotify.
As Demand Marketing Manager you will lead our marketing strategy and activation efforts, working closely with partners across the organisation and in-market team members to help deepen engagement and grow demand with the largest advertisers and agencies in France. You will lead the development and execution of compelling integrated marketing campaigns, inclusive of digital, content and experiential extensions that align with narrative and research releases to drive awareness and consideration of our advertising offering on Spotify. We are looking for an energetic, creative self-starter who is resourceful, organised, has outstanding attention to detail and the ability to develop well-defined processes to lead effective project rollouts. The role also requires native French language, with familiarity localising and translating English materials and a deep understanding of the advertising and media landscape in France.
This position will report to the Associate Director of Demand Marketing, EMEA.
What You'll Do
Lead the local market strategy, developing educational and inspirational initiatives that are rooted in insights and creativity to grow demand for Spotify Advertising among France’s largest marketers and advertisers
Anticipate industry changes, identify in-market opportunities and set a leadership vision for the French market
Champion vertical insights and strategies that accelerate growth within the market
Build marketing programs that can be adapted to the needs of the market and client segments
Own and manage the event strategy across our portfolio of experiences - from Spotify-owned events, regional sponsorships and conferences, to smaller workshops, ensuring a cohesive pre-, during and post-event strategy to increase engagement and drive consideration
Become a trusted partner within Spotify’s advertising business in EMEA, partnering effectively with local Sales leadership, Communications/PR and other cross-functional teams.
Identify and secure public speaking opportunities for local Sales leaders and support trade PR activity in conjunction with the regional and global PR team
Recap all activities and measure critical metrics highlighting insights, successes and takeaways to ensure we are making data-driven decisions on future marketing activities
Adapt, localise and translate all Demand Marketing-owned collateral for the French sales teams by ensuring narratives are consistent with the global story but culturally relevant through local data and insights
Reconcile program, department, and event budgets; ensure accurate budget tracking and payments including managing PO’s, setting up suppliers Who You Are
You have a Bachelor’s in Marketing or an equivalent degree
You have 8+ years of marketing experience in a similar B2B marketing role
You have experience delivering innovative, effective local marketing campaigns, with an emphasis on account-based marketing
You know how to work both autonomously, as part of a small nimble team, and cross-functionally with different departments both locally and internationally
You are a proactive self-starter, willing to jump in and execute
You have a track record of partnering closely and effectively with an ambitious Sales team and a history of strong internal relationships
You can mix creativity with critical thinking and demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills
You have exceptional attention to detail
You have strong written communication and presentation skills
Experience using Keynote and Google Slides to craft Sales materials would be of particular benefit
Experience using Salesforce and SplashThat is highly regarded
You are a fluent French speaker with business-level fluency in English
