Role Summary

This newly created role is responsible for all financial accounting, close processes and reporting in relation to the Revenue Operations function. This role will be reporting to the Director, Revenue Operations

What you will do

  • Responsible for month-end ledger close processes in respect of Revenue, including: Key journal postings, GL reconciliations, monitoring close of Bookings and ensuring all transactions are captured correctly in relevant systems and Ad-hoc month end processes to ensure Revenue is complete and accurate
  • Responsible for managing and delivering audit requirements, including all audit requests linked to Revenue
  • Supporting controls-based audits by ensuring control procedures are up to date with relevant documented evidence
  • Responsible for key reporting, including Flash, Monthly, Statutory Accounts and other Compliance related reporting
  • Working with the FP&A team to provide inputs for Revenue forecasting
  • Reviewing and improving current processes to improve efficiency
  • Running system closure processes in local time-zones with efficient handover to incoming time-zones
  • What you will bring

  • Qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualification relevant experience
  • Strong background in month-end close procedures including journals, analysis and reconciliations
  • Strong reporting experience, with Revenue reporting experience an advantage
  • Experience with SAP in relation to journal postings/reconciliations/running reports
  • Strong MS Excel skills with PBI exposure an advantage
  • Proven experience representing your function in cross-functional meetings
  • Strong analytical skills to support reporting
  • Strong accounting background
  • Proven experience in month-end close procedures
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, adaptable, proactive, and work well under pressure
  • Comfortable working with team members and external support in a global team
  • Attention to detail whilst retaining the ability to step back and see the bigger picture
  • Salesforce experience (advantageous)
  • Zuora Revenue experience (advantageous)
  • Exposure to current GAAP revenue accounting standards (advantageous)
  • PowerBI and dashboard reporting (advantageous)
