๐Ÿ“‹ Description

  • Act as a deep domain expert in real-time vehicle localization.
  • Design robust multi-sensor fusion algorithms (IMU, LiDAR, GNSS, etc.).
  • Architect mathematical models for factor graphs and Kalman filters.
  • Develop highly optimized Rust code for real-time on-vehicle compute.
  • Collaborate with Perception and Mapping to couple maps into localization.
  • Build evaluation frameworks for localization accuracy on Waabi World and tracks.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • BS/MS/PhD in Robotics, CS, or related field; 5+ years experience.
  • Deep expertise in probabilistic robotics, state estimation, 3D geometry.
  • Experience building/optimizing SLAM, including ICP.
  • Extensive experience fusing data from IMU, LiDAR, GNSS, etc.
  • Strong C++/Rust systems programming; memory, concurrency, RT; math background.
  • Python for data analysis; nice-to-have: GTSAM/Ceres/g2o; learned localization.
