Senior / Staff Embedded Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Implement safety-critical embedded software for truck control (engine, steering, braking).
• Integrate sensors and vehicle actuation feedback with localization and control systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, safety and systems teams on design, build and validation.
• Develop software following best practices for safe, reliable and robust code.
• Support bring-up and operation of the autonomous platform remotely and on-site.
• Work with autonomy engineers on low-level functions to drive AV success.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years embedded software on ARM MCUs (RTOS optional).
• Create reusable embedded code and testable systems.
• Mentor juniors; cross-team collaboration; strong in C/C++/Rust (Rust preferred).
• Experience with safety-critical hi-reliability software and safety standards.
• Onsite/hybrid role; 3-5 days/week onsite.
• Strong debugging, testing, and integration skills.
