- Act as a cross-functional bridge between middleware and safety teams to align design and requirements.
- Create and maintain a holistic architecture view of the middleware stack across compute platforms.
- Strengthen middleware/diagnostics architecture by decoupling components and designing fault responses.
- Define and implement diagnostics strategy: fault detection, logging, and traceability.
- Analyze fault propagation across components and design mitigations for availability and safety.
- Generate and track fault metrics on a regular cadence.
🎯 Requirements
- B.S./M.S./PhD in Engineering, Physics or relevant field and 7+ years of experience.
- Strong middleware experience, ideally in embedded or distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills translating architectural and safety considerations into actionable engineering requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to apply software engineering best practices.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments involving platform, safety and software teams.
- Hands-on experience with design and implementation of diagnostic systems such as health monitoring, fault reduction or logging frameworks.
