Senior Software Engineer - Time Synchronization & Embedded Networking

📋 Description

• Lead design and implementation of high-precision time sync for autonomous systems (PTP)
• Architect clock distribution with hardware timestamping and time distribution
• Design tests achieving sub-microsecond timing accuracy and diagnose issues
• Develop safety-critical timing and networking components per ISO 26262
• Build embedded networking: Ethernet switches, VLANs, multicast
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to standards/docs

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Robotics +4 yrs embedded systems experience
• 5+ yrs embedded software with time synchronization focus
• Expert in IEEE 1588 (PTP) and IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP)
• Strong knowledge of time sync architectures and NTP/GNSS
• Proficient in C and C++ for RTOS/embedded Linux
• Experience designing network protocols and embedded Ethernet switches
