Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering

📋 Description

• Design & Architect: Author design documents to propose scalable infra.
• Tooling & SDK Development: Build CLI tools and Python SDKs using Ray.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and operate AWS-based data infra.
• Data Pipeline Engineering: Build pipelines using dbt, Iceberg/Parquet, Redshift for Looker.
• CI/CD & Containerization: GitLab CI/CD; Docker/Kubernetes deployments.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor peers and shape the metrics infra roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, backend or data infra.
• Deep Python expertise for scalable backend systems.
• Experience with AWS, Redshift, Iceberg, Parquet.
• DBT for data transformations and Looker for BI.
• Hands-on Ray for scaling Python workloads.
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and GitLab CI/CD.
• Ability to write clear design docs and lead architecture reviews.
