Senior Satellite Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead engineer for one or more satellite missions with single/multi-payload configurations.
• Define and manage system requirements and verification plans with hardware, AIT, and software teams.
• Develop satellite interface specs and overall architecture with the team.
• Lead analyses across energy, data/links, coverage, propulsion, margins.
• Review sub-system analyses (mechanical, thermal, RF, etc.).
• Develop CONOPS with flight operations and align service level agreements with customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10 years' spacecraft systems engineering across multiple subsystems (e.g., ADCS, mechanical, thermal).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Challenge norms in aerospace and thrive in fast-paced development.
• Experience in small satellite assembly, integration and test campaigns.
• Hands-on and comfortable under pressure.

Nice to Haves

• Python and Jupyter for analysis and simulation.
• Orbital mechanics and constellation-level design.
• Exposure to RF, optical, radar, hosted compute payloads.
• Exposure to in-orbit operations.
• International experience.
