Senior Platform Engineer II

📋 Description

• Build and secure cloud infrastructure in regulated environments with automation and reliability.
• Design secure, scalable AWS networks and hybrid on-prem connectivity.
• Design HA/DR networks with multi-tenant isolation and segmentation.
• Create network diagrams and Terraform-based AWS networking infra; automate provisioning across environments.
• Support FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 controls; assist audits and maintain docs.
• Monitor network performance with DataDog/Prometheus and AWS tools; participate in on-call rotation.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in cloud/platform engineering with strong AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPNs).
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Terraform and IaC expert; automate provisioning across environments; CI/CD integration.
• Experience supporting FedRAMP Moderate/High; familiarity with compliance controls, audit processes, and security documentation.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java; strong Linux fundamentals.
• Excellent system design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
