- Lead triage, containment, and resolution for issues during assembly and end-of-line testing.
- Define and execute short-term containment actions, including rework plans and part quarantine.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to lead root cause analysis across design and manufacturing; drive DFM.
- Support teams to implement permanent corrective actions (PCA) and prevent recurrence.
- Support prototype builds, production trials, and engineering changes to validate fixes and improve manufacturability.
- Develop metrics and dashboards to track issue health, closure rates, recurrence, and PIRT processes.
🎯 Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8-12 years in automotive OEMs, robotics, aviation, or complex hardware in manufacturing or sustaining roles.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, wiring harnesses/connectors, control units, compute, and sensor hardware.
- Proven experience leading root cause analysis and corrective actions in production, manufacturing, or field environments, incl. new product launch support.
- Strong cross-functional communication and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), process optimization, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI methods.
- Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or EV systems.
- Familiarity with tools such as 3DX, DELMIA, SAP ME/MII, JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Python, or data visualization tools.
