Install, layout, and maintain all network gear.
Plan, design, and provide technical support for GoNetspeed's fiber-based network.
Research and evaluate new network tech; recommend purchases.
Responsible for Windows and Linux-based back office systems.
Participate in an on-call rotation with other engineers.
Assist provisioning and technical support as needed.

🎯 Requirements

In-depth Nokia and Cisco network equipment knowledge.
Routing (BGP, OSPF, ISIS); switching; PON configurations.
Fiber termination and DWDM systems knowledge.
Unix-based scripting and Linux system management.
Strong project management, writing, and communications skills.
BS IT or equivalent; 5+ years data networks; 2+ years in systems engineering.
